Tic Tac

Definitely, I hate waiting! Between a "tic" and a "tac", my brain goes crazy. The clock goes so slow, struggling against it´s engine, always trying to reach the next second. Second, that invisible line that manages time. Time. Invisible power that controls me. Me. The one that is speaking to thee. Thee. Slaves of the time just like me!

It can be staggering, can't it?

For some, it swims up their spines and paralizes every part of their bodies except for their racing minds and hearts. For others it motivates them to be impulsive and march forward into places they would be better suited.

Wouldn't it be great to have a handle on it? To know that fear is arbitrary and what terrifies one is a non-issue to another?

Dorothy Bernard

"Courage is fear that has said its prayers."

Eric Hoffer

"You can discover what your enemy fears most by observing the means he uses to frighten you.."

George Sewell

"Fear is the tax that conscience pays to guilt."

Publilius Syrus

"The fear of death is more to be dreaded than death itself."

Dorothy Thompson

"Only when we are no longer afraid we begin to live."

"There is nothing to fear except the persistent refusal to find out the truth, the persistent refusal to analyze the causes of happenings."

"The most destructive element in the human mind is fear. Fear creates aggressiveness.Fear grows in darkness; if you think there's a bogeyman around, turn on the light."

Marcus Aurelius

"If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to your estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment."
